A Celtic St. Patrick’s Day stay returns

Last year, we couldn’t come together on stage. Undaunted, we have created a very special virtual experience shared by thousands of people on a very lonely walk.

This year we return, and A St. Patrick’s Day Celtic Sojourn will be both live on stage and Virtual for your enjoyment. Our aim is to celebrate our re-emergence from the darkest period of isolation we have been through. And we promise to do so safely, but we will sing our familiar songs together and, as always, introduce new traditional materials.

We will open December 16 with a show at Shalin Liu Performance Center in Rockport followed by shows at Worcester’s Hanover Theatre, New Bedford’s Zeiterion, Somerville Theatre* (two shows) and end as has become our tradition at Cabot in Beverly.

Special offer: Get access to the best tickets available, AND become a GBH member in the process. A limited number of large seats have been reserved especially for those wishing to donate to the work of GBH and A Celtic Sojourn, and enjoy the A St. Patrick’s Day concert at the same time. * A Note on the Sanders Theater. We have a tradition of hosting two shows each year at the beautiful Sanders Theater at Harvard University. Unfortunately, the theater being an academic institution, the restrictions related to the pandemic prevented us from guaranteeing its availability in March. Fortunately, our friends at the Somerville Theater – where we started this tradition in 2005 – made themselves available to us.
